Initial creation in 1948 by Paul Vacher
Reissued by Domitille Michalon-Bertier / IFF
Like the famous painter’s despair, it could have been called the perfumer’s despair: lily of the valley. Slender flower, synonymous with freshness and naturalness, innocent in appearance, yet resistant to cultivation and extraction and, for more than a century, has challenged perfumers to recreate its elusive fragrance. A challenge taken up in 1948 by Paul Vacher, and transcended today by the art of Domitille Michalon-Bertier. The master stroke? A 2020 lily of the valley recomposed in 100% synthesis for a beauty without artifice around new molecules: StarfleurTM with aquatic florality, AmbertonicTM and SinfonideTM for a musky breath. A transfiguration of lily of the valley, a vertiginous green floral.
