We worked with natural vanilla beans and not synthetics, choosing Madagascar’s vanilla for its depth and its distinguished, faceted aspect.

Sylvaine Delacourte wanted to use vanilla in a different way from her past creations, such as L’Instant de Guerlain, Cuir Beluga, Angélique Noire, Bois D’Arménie or Double Vanille and wanted to appeal to those who say “No, I don’t like vanilla”
